Prison Ministry

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. - Ephesians 4:32

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. - 1 Thessalonians 5:11

I was in prison and you came to Me...And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ - Matthew 25:36; 40

Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered. - Proverbs 11:25

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. - 1 John 3:17-18

Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. - Philippians 2:4

How We Serve

Some of the brothers in Christ at prison facility in Maryland.

Unlimited Faith Ministry currently ministers to inmates across different facilities in Maryland. We minister to them from the inside out, thanks to the fact that we have volunteers outside the prison and inside working for Unlimited Faith Ministry, including one of the founders of our ministry founders, Julio Aguilar. We minister to these men through letters, phone calls, and directly, thanks to Julio being there with them. Through Bible studies and church meetings, many men hear the word of God. In Matthew 25 that visiting and ministering to incarcerated individuals was very important, so important that doing so was like ministering to Jesus Himself! We want to ensure that people hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ in prison and are transformed by His love and power so they can live purposeful lives for God and rest securely in the salvation of Jesus Christ. God's love and the power of the Holy Spirit are not contained by any man-made prison walls!

Inmates worshiping during church survive

Primary needs we meet:

  • Provide encouragement and fellowship via letters, phone calls, visits, and directly with them inside the prison through bible studies and preaching in services.
  • Soap, deodorant, toothpaste, pencils and more...many of these every-day necessities are NOT automatically provided to inmates. The giving of these items is a great blessing to incarcerated individuals and it is how we bless others, build relationships, and share the gospel.
  • Birthday & Christmas gifts. Remembering someone's birthday or blessing someone on Christmas with a small gift and letter is a great way to remind someone in prison that they are loved and remembered, both by others and by Jesus Christ!
  • We provide bibles to inmates individually or by the case.
  • Help for inmate families. The families of incarcerated individuals need support too. Whether it is through encouraging messages or helping family members navigate the complicated phone, commissary, and visiting systems, Unlimited Faith Ministry is always there not just for the inmates, but their families too. This is especially important for inmates and their families who speak only Spanish.

Testimonies from Inmates

"Thank you all and the ministry for all you do but more important, thank you all for sharing the word of God, Christian love, and friendship with me and others behind these prison walls. God bless you all and the ministry."

- Jimmy B.

"Words cannot express my gratitude to God for bringing Julio & Anna Aguilar (founders of Unlimited Faith Ministry) into my life. When my son was killed in May 2020, their Christian love and support for me increased even more during that challenging time in my life. I admire UFM tremendously because their Christian example as well as their principles are an inspiration to me and others who not only want to save souls but also strive daily to be a support system.. [for others]."
